What do you make of this?

So, for some reason I was looking at this airport and I found something I had never seen before.

What catches your eye about the information contained here and has anyone been to Healdsburg to experience this unqiue feature?

It took my awhile to do the research on this but what I found was very interesting. I think I now want to fly to Healdsburg and experience this first hand.

    I did make it to HES and had a chance to experience this unique feature or lack thereof... I'll post some details latter.

    it was INOP half the time... it wouldn;t respond on command but every now and then you would hear it broadcast in the CTAF.. problem was that the CTAF frequency of HES is the same as a number of other nearby non-towered airports which I think was causing the AWOS to not behave like it should...
